Non-Invasives Procedures
Neurotoxins
Neurotoxins, in the context of cosmetic procedures, usually refer to substances like botulinum toxin type A, commonly known by brand names such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeauveau, and Daxxify. These neurotoxins are used for cosmetic purposes to temporarily reduce or eliminate facial wrinkles and fine lines by paralyzing or weakening the underlying muscles.
The injection of neurotoxins is a minimally invasive and popular cosmetic treatment, often chosen to address dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions. Common areas for treatment include forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet around the eyes. The effects are temporary, typically lasting several months, after which the procedure may be repeated if desired
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable substances used in cosmetic procedures to add volume, smooth lines and wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Common types of dermal fillers include hyaluronic acid-based fillers (like Juvederm, Restylane, and RHA) and others made from substances such as calcium hydroxylapatite or poly-L-lactic acid. These fillers can be used to address areas like the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and under-eye hollows.
Dermal filler injections are minimally invasive and provide immediate results. They work by plumping up the targeted area, effectively reducing the appearance of wrinkles or adding volume to areas affected by age-related volume loss. The effects of dermal fillers are temporary, typically lasting several months to a year, depending on the type of filler used.
Chemical peels
Chemical peels are cosmetic procedures that involve the application of a chemical solution to the skin, which causes the outer layer to exfoliate and eventually peel off. This process promotes the regeneration of new, smoother skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and improving skin texture. Chemical peels come in different strengths, ranging from superficial to deep, and they can target various skin concerns. Superficial peels are often used for mild exfoliation and brightening, while deeper peels can address more significant skin issues. Dr. Tran offers a 30% TCA peel, a moderate-deep chemical peel.
liquid facelift
A liquid facelift, sometimes referred to as a non-surgical facelift, is a cosmetic procedure that involves the use of injectable dermal fillers and neuromodulators (such as Botox) to achieve a rejuvenated facial appearance without surgery. This approach is particularly popular for individuals seeking a non-invasive or less-invasive alternative to a traditional facelift. The liquid facelift is customizable and can address various areas of the face, including the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and more. While the results are generally temporary, lasting several months to a year, this procedure offers a convenient and effective option for those seeking facial rejuvenation without the downtime associated with surgery.
